Royal Bank of Canada Capital Markets IBD - any thoughts?

I know that they have a growing London office and specialise in certain areas including metals and mining, energy, infrastructure and transport. I've also heard that their deal flow is good at the moment. Any further thoughts/opinions would be welcome.

Thanks.

if you can't get a top 10 bank get a top 20 / 30 , its still pays the bills..

Are you trying to say that RBC Capital Markets isn't top 20/30? From the rankings I've seen it's in the top 20 (albeit at the lower end)

I would say it is a 3rd/4rd tier.. take it and try to move to a top tier US house when you can...

doloris, what tier bank and what desk do you actually work on? You speak as if you are an all knowing oracle so I would like to know your background before I listen to anything you have to say

Doloris is an idiot. You're better off not listening at all.
