Dear All,
Thank you everyone who started contributing content to our new clusters. I realized that this would be the right time to clarify and explain our intentions with how to create a first-class source of information about these industries here on Nicube, so here we go:
1) Over the next few days, we will be talking to some of the leading graduate recruiters and recruitment consultants, who have mostly indicated preliminary interests in contributing. Expect industry guides, how-to articles, links to useful resources, information about the programmes they run, live interviews or Q&A sessions.
2) Secondly, we will be talking to some of the leading journalists and writers in the fields of careers and higher education, who again should contribute to the new clusters on many fronts, drawing on their extensive experience in the field.
3) Nicube is, and for some time will be, somehow skewed towards Investment Banking, due to its predecessor's legacy. You would be surprised, however, how many of our members who come from IBTalk are bankers-turned-consultants, accountants-turned-bankers etc - to put it simply, people who have experience in multiple industries. As they start joining new clusters, they will be able and willing to answer any questions you might have - so please do make use of the new forums.
4) Lastly, but perhaps most importantly, we have been in touch with a number of professionals working in these industries, be it Management and Economics Consultants, Lawyers, Entrepreneurs or Engineers. They will be registering on the site throughout next week, and should start contributing resources and answering your questions then.
Finally, we are open and curious about your suggestions - what do you think is the best way of kicking off proper activity in our new clusters?
Many thanks, and have a great Sunday.
